Don't use the above image as your BOOK BINGO sheet. It's just a guide for how the blog is organized.
If you would like a printable copy of the Book Bingo, just sign up on the sidebar. →
How to play:
1. Sign up by filling out the sidebar. We won't share any of your info. We will send you an email with a pdf of the Bingo sheet within 24 hrs.
**We are considering making the website private. If you arrive at the site and it has become private, just use the email address you signed up with to log into the site. Thanks! And let us know if you think it would be better as a private or public site. **

2. Print the BINGO sheet. We recommend printing out two copies, one where you can brainstorm titles of books that might fit the category, and a one official copy where you list titles AFTER you have finished them.
3. Explore the links to find ideas and titles of books if you like.
4. Go read! That's basically the whole idea.
5. When you finish a book, fill in the title, author, and date on your official Book BINGO sheet.
6. Come back here and find the post for that category by clicking on its BINGO letter under our blog banner. (See where it says B I N G O up there? Those are links!) So, for "N2: A Short Story," you click on the letter N, then scroll down to N2. You can also use the archive sidebar if you like.
6. Add a comment, telling us what book you read and whether you recommend it or not. We love to hear what you thought of the book, a little of what it is about, but NO PLOT REVEALS! Thanks!

7. When you have a BINGO from completing five squares across, down or diagonally, celebrate! We have a whole list of ideas for parents or kids to celebrate stretching outside our usually genres.
8. When you complete the entire BINGO sheet (or August 15th, which ever comes first!), please send a photo of your BINGO sheet, with titles and authors filled in, to aokaidan at hotmail dot com. We hope to send everyone (even if you didn't finish the whole sheet) a little something to celebrate your participation. Yay!
UPDATE: We just learned that our fearless hero, Charlotte the head Children's librarian at Grand County Public Library, is offering a bigger reward for the first five kids who finish their BINGO cards: a gift certificate to Back of Beyond Books! Awesome-Sauce!
